Target Audience is very important as it is important to know who the film is aimed at.

For a thriller film the desired target audience would be of people 18 or over as an age limit. However it would also intrest people aged 16 and 17. Due to the example of thrillers I have watched they are rated 18. This is also due to the storyline's in the film and that they would not be appropriate for people of a younger age.
I am for my teaser trailer to be distributed virally as this is a cheaper method for a small Art House film. Also as the paradigm of the time suggests people are spending more and more time online therefore this is the best location for the teaser trailer to be viewed. Word of mouth will also help to advertise the trailer. This would therefore minimize the promotional costs.
